Transition

In recent years, the sector has been characterised by increasingly stringent requirements regarding non-financial reporting and transparency, followed more recently by a shift in ambition.

In response to these challenges, the OID aims to identify, analyse and support regulatory and market developments linked to the sustainable transformation of the real estate sector.
In particular, the OID addresses current uncertainties and the need for harmonisation within the sector. The objective is to bring together stakeholders who are willing and committed to these issues, at a time when ESG topics remain essential.

CO-DEVELOPING TOOLS AND DELIVERABLES

The Transition team examines practices relating to sustainable finance and non-financial reporting, such as the European Taxonomy, CSRD and SFDR regulations, Article 29 of the Energy and Climate Law, as well as voluntary schemes such as voluntary sustainability standards (VSME, Mid-Caps) or the SRI Label.

The OID and its members work together to co-create tools and deliverables enabling the sector to adopt and integrate these practices internally.
