The European Sustainable Real Estate Initiative (ESREI), launched by the OID in 2021, arose from a simple observation: environmental challenges extend far beyond our national borders, and it is essential for stakeholders to consider and harmonise their sustainable practices at a regional and global level. To this end, ESREI fosters and facilitates a European network focused on sustainability issues in the real estate sector, driven by collective intelligence and a commitment to sharing best practices.
ESREI invites companies with European operations or European organisations to join the initiative at the level of commitment of their choice. There are three membership options, each offering a wide range of benefits, including:
