The Sustainable Real Estate Workshop is a educational workshop that draws on collective intelligence to explore ways of transitioning towards sustainable real estate. This awareness-raising tool naturally engages participants in the search for practical solutions. Elements can be tailored to address the specific challenges faced by your organisation.
• To provide an overview of the major challenges facing the real estate sector and its responsibilities in the face of the climate emergency (GHG emissions, land-use change, impact on water and biodiversity, etc.)
• To raise awareness of the sector’s vulnerabilities and regulatory considerations (climate-related hazards, insurance risks, compliance costs, etc.)
• To facilitate a time of reflection on a property project and concrete solutions to be implemented in the company
The Sustainable Real Estate Workshop is aimed at all stakeholders in the real estate sector, from professionals to students. It is open to everyone, with no specific prerequisites.
• A 3-hour workshop in two parts: a fun session to explore the concepts and a reflective session to develop a project
• Cards, tokens and group role-play scenarios
• A neutral and objective tool, based on scientific sources
• A summary sheet sent out at the end of the workshop

The workshop can be delivered in any type of organisation or event (seminar, team-building session, induction day, etc.), and there is no limit on the number of participants. It is delivered by the OID and lasts 3 hours.
If you would like to take part individually in a Sustainable Real Estate Workshop, or in facilitation training, you can register for a face-to-face session at the OID’s office (central Paris). New sessions are added regularly.

Train to facilitate the Sustainable Real Estate Workshop so that you can deliver it internally or externally. Please note: you must have participated in a Sustainable Real Estate Workshop before training to become a facilitator.
Usage fees are collected by the OID after each workshop facilitated. For more information, please consult the user licence.
